I am a second Ph.D. student at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), starting from Aug. 2023. I feel lucky to be advised by Prof. Michael R. Lyu . I received my B.E. degree from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, in 2023.
I am interested in exploring how advanced AI systems, particularly multimodal large language models (MLLMs), can automate the process of visual-driven programming (VDP). VDP focuses on creating, manipulating, and interacting with visual outputs like graphical user interfaces (GUIs), data visualizations, and web designs, rather than traditional programming that emphasizes logic or performance. My research involves using reinforcement learning and fine-tuning to improve the adaptability and efficiency of these systems, enabling them to generate dynamic and interactive visual elements automatically. This has applications in areas like software development, user experience design, and creative coding.
